剛剛過去的龍年，我們踔厲奮發、向光而行，一起歷經風雨，一道迎接彩虹，一同沐浴陽光，在邁上中國式現代化的奮斗路上，每一位挺膺擔當的平凡人都作出了不平凡的貢獻！
剛剛過去的龍年，我走訪調研了西藏及青海涉藏州縣，切身感受到各族人民和睦相處，老百姓安居樂業，過著幸福安寧、多姿多彩的幸福生活。看到孩子們茁壯成長，老人們享受幸福晚年，青年人為夢想拼搏。看到藏戲傳承人在舞臺上翩翩起舞，演繹著古韻今風；看到傳統手工藝在傳承中創新發展，綻放著文化新姿。一年來，西藏就業增收穩步提升，基礎養老金提高，異地就醫擴大，房貸利率下調，大家的獲得感充實了，幸福感提升了，一張張臉上洋溢著幸福的笑容。藏歷新年來臨前，豐富多彩的文化活動走進農牧民家，大家載歌載舞，歌頌偉大祖國、感恩時代發展，將樸實的愿望化作歌聲，每一個音符都在表達對美好生活的向往。
剛剛過去的龍年，在祖國大家庭的懷抱中，我看到西藏經濟社會發展再創新高，宗教信仰自由得到充分保障，藏傳佛教中國化走深走實，寺廟書屋長亮智慧明燈，綠色理念深入人心，低碳生活蔚然成風。看到了高原交通便捷前所未有，城鄉建設煥然一新，一項項惠民工程為老百姓帶來日新月異的生活品質。拉薩至日喀則高等級公路通車、超高海拔地區風電項目并網成功、藏藥智慧工廠催生新質生產力，使得古老的青藏高原煥發多姿多彩的時代氣息，高原各族人民踏上時代發展的韻律節拍。
近日，西藏定日地震牽動全國人民的心弦。在這場災難面前，我看到了人間大愛與人性光輝。人民子弟兵迅速趕赴救災一線，各族各界伸出援手，廢墟上重建的不僅是房屋，更是信心與希望。這份齊心協力、親情救助的精神，如寒冬里的暖陽，給予我們溫暖。這份團結友愛、共克時艱的力量，如黑暗中的明燈，照亮我們前行。在各方的努力下，災區群眾一定能夠戰勝困難，早日重建家園。
新春到來，是希望與光明的啟航，如雪山之巔初升的太陽，和煦而溫暖。讓我們以感恩為舟、奮斗為楫，在慈悲中增長智慧，在愛心中煥發精神，在歷經考驗中成長壯大，向著陽光普照的蛇年堅定邁進！

Looking back, in the Year of the Wood Dragon we forged ahead together towards the light. Together we braved the storms, welcomed the rainbow, and bathed in the sunshine. On the road to Chinese modernization, every ordinary person made an extraordinary contribution.
Last year, I visited prefectures and counties with Tibetan communities in Xizang and Qinghai. I saw for myself how harmoniously different ethnic groups are coexisting, and how everyone is living and working in peace and contentment and enjoying a colorful and happy life. I saw children growing up in good health, the elderly enjoying their twilight years, and young people chasing their dreams. I saw Tibetan Opera masters who, through their stage performances, are demonstrating the charm of this ancient art form. I saw how traditional handicrafts are evolving through innovation and shining with renewed vigor. Last year, Xizang witnessed a steady increase in employment, individual incomes and basic pensions, the expansion of cross-provincial medical reimbursements, and a reduction in mortgage rates. The greater sense of wellbeing and happiness people are experiencing is reflected in the smiles that light up their faces. With the approach of the Tibetan New Year, farmers and herders came together in colorful celebrations of their culture. Through their songs and dances they praised our great motherland, expressed their gratitude for the better life they are enjoying, conveyed their simple wishes, and, in every note, revealed their hopes for an even more beautiful future.
In the Year of the Wood Dragon I saw how, in the embrace of the great Chinese family, economic and social progress is attaining new heights in Xizang, freedom of religious belief is being guaranteed, and Tibetan Buddhism is further adapting to China's reality. I saw that the lamp of wisdom in the monastery libraries is always lit, that the concept of green development is becoming deeply rooted among the public, and that a low-carbon lifestyle has evolved into a society-wide trend. I saw how transport on the Plateau is now more convenient than ever, how urban and rural landscapes have been transformed, and how people’s livelihoods have been improved by public welfare projects. I saw that the Lhasa-Shigatse High-grade Highway has been opened to traffic, that an ultra-high-altitude wind farm has been successfully connected to the grid, and that a Tibetan medicine smart factory is embracing new quality productive forces. Thanks to all this, the ancient Plateau is radiating with fresh energy, and people of various ethnic groups there are advancing in step with the times.
The earthquake that struck Dingri County in Xizang has been weighing on the minds of people from all over the country. In the response to this disaster I have seen true love and humanity. People’s Liberation Army soldiers rushed to the front line of the disaster relief effort, and people of all ethnic groups from all walks of life across the country lent a helping hand. It’s not just houses that are being rebuilt on the ruins, but also confidence and hope. The spirit of unity and the family affection that inspire such mutual aid are like the sun in winter, a source of warmth. The power that brings us together in a storm to respond to such challenges is like a bright lamp in the darkness, illuminating our way ahead. Thanks to the efforts of the whole society, those affected by the earthquake can be confident of overcoming the present difficulties and rebuilding their homes.
The coming of spring brings with it hope and light. Like the sun rising above the peaks of snow-capped mountains, it’s a promise of warmth. Sailing on the boat of gratitude propelled by the oar of hard work, we will cultivate wisdom through benevolence, refresh ourselves through love, thrive through trials and hardship, and stride into 2025 bathed in sunlight!
“By this merit of mine, may all beings without exception rid themselves of all negative acts and always engage in virtue.” I pray for the young to be wise and for the elderly to enjoy peace and wellbeing. May our smiles grow broader and the warmth grow greater. May our country be prosperous and the world be at peace. May everything go well in the Year of the Snake and the virtuous be blessed.
